COVID-19 Standards for Summer Junior Golf Programs

All of our Summer Junior Golf Programs will be held entirely outdoors this year.  We will be social distancing by keeping our ratio at a maximum of 6 students to 1 instructor. Participants will be as far apart as possible at all times.  In order to keep contact at a minimum, our groups will be unchanged throughout the day and the entire week.  We will not be mixing the groups or instructors… your child will be with the same people every day.

If your child has their own golf clubs, please bring them.  If they do not have clubs, we will provide clubs.  Our golf clubs will be sanitized before each session, and only your child will be using that specific set of clubs for the session.

We are not requiring masks.  However, if you feel more comfortable sending your child in a mask, please do so. If your child does wear a mask, please be certain that he or she is willing and able to keep that mask on for the entirety of the program. We do not want our instructors to have to adjust masks on participants’ faces.  We will be outdoors in the heat… please take that into consideration.

We will play through light rain and/or spotty showers. We will cancel your session if there is heavy rain or thunderstorms predicted. We will notify you via email at least one hour prior to your start time if your session is cancelled for the day. Friday is the make-up day if one of your sessions is cancelled due to rain. THERE IS NO CAMP ON FRIDAY UNLESS IT IS A RAIN DAY MAKE-UP.

You will be sending snack and water with your child each day. Each group will eat snack outdoors at a separate 10-minute time slot, and the kids will sit 6 feet apart (2 at a picnic table, opposite sides and ends of the table). NO ONE IS PERMITTED TO STAY AT TWIN WILLOWS FOR LUNCH.  Your child must be picked up at the end of the morning session, promptly at 12pm.  Likewise, please do not show up early for the 1pm afternoon session with the idea of eating lunch at the golf course.  We will not allow you to do so

You will be receiving the following forms that must be completed and submitted via email BEFORE YOUR CHILD ATTENDS CAMP:

-Health History Form                                     -Code of Conduct

-Waiver & Consent Form                               -COVID-19 Pre-Screening Form

Upon arriving at Twin Willows each day, an appointed staff member will be screening participants for fever and symptoms of COVID-19.  Anyone with a fever of 100.4 or above will not be permitted to attend their session that day.

Parents/Guardians are not permitted to stay (congregate) and watch their child’s session.  The State Department of Health is asking us to limit all “non-essential visitors”.
